Digital Literacy Skills Training
We are here to address the digital divide in Alamance County. Disproportionately low-income, Black, Hispanic, and rural populations lack a broadband connection or a digital device at home. This disparity exacerbates existing barriers to pursuing an education, earning higher incomes, and obtaining essential services such as health care and financial services. We are here to eliminate the technology gap.
A computer is a fundemental need in today's society. And yet, 36 million people don't have one or how to use one to its full potential. Having a connected, working computer and skills is a fundemental need. We believe by eliminating the technology gap will open up a world of opportunities that can power human potential. Having access to a connected computer and requisite skills is essential in our digitally-connected society. NO ONE can or should be left behind.
